The 1970s were one of the weirdest decades, polyester, weird music, terrible hair, and foods we are grateful we never had to experience. Here's a look at 23 foods they ate- some will make you thank god you didn't have to clean your plate.

Meatball stew may not have looked bad but the combination of meatballs, peas, carrots, and a thick gravy left people with a bad taste in their mouths -
